Daymark Solutions Customer Tele Atlas Nabs Second Place in VMware Contest

October 10, 2007 - At this year's VMworld 2007 Conference, Daymark Solutions customer Tele Atlas, the world's most trusted source of digital map data and dynamic content, earned top honors in the VMworld "Become Virtually Famous" video content. Tele Atlas' highly creative "Surviving IT" video bested some stiff competition by demonstrating how VMware can help companies save power and data center space, and simplify server provisioning.

Daymark Solutions, a leading provider of information technology solutions and a VMware Authorized Consultant, helped Tele Atlas successfully implement its VMware solution.

In their "Surviving IT" video, the VMware team from Tele Atlas spoofs the popular "Survivor" reality show. It pits two teams against each other in challenges such as "The Reducing power and Cooling Costs Challenge" and "Quickly Provision Five New Windows Servers Challenge." The video earned high rankings from VMware users, who voted online at the contest website.
