VMware User Group Meeting
June 15, 2007 – Daymark Solutions, Inc. will partner with Sun Microsystems
at the July 19, 2007 New England Area VMware User Group meeting to demonstrate
how VMware software and Sun AMD-based technology can help customers resolve
chronic problems like server proliferation, underutilized hardware, application
lifecycle management, and desktop security. The meeting will be held at LL Bean
in Freeport, Maine, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
As part of their Technology Showcase presentation, Daymark and Sun will have a
live Sun x4600 server and Sun 6140 storage array running VMware software.
Daymark, a VMware Enterprise VIP Reseller and Sun Microsystems iForce Technology
Integrator, will offer insights based on first-hand experience on how to
effectively design, implement and manage a solution incorporating these two
powerful technologies.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for VMware users throughout New England to get
a closer look at how VMware and Sun perform together,” said Daymark spokesman
Steve Haywood. “Plus, because of Daymark’s extensive experience implementing
solutions from these two companies, users will also have the chance to learn
from experts who have been on the front lines.”
