Conference Helps U.S. DoD Contractors Protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
Burlington, MA, January 6, 2026 – Daymark Solutions, a leading provider of information technology solutions, announced that it is a sponsor of CUI-CON 2026, taking place February 11–13, 2026, in Orlando, FL. The goal of CUI-CON is to assist Department of Defense (DoD) contractors with the implementation of NIST SP 800-171 and to help them prepare for their Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) conformity assessment. CUI-CON is a working conference focused on helping organizations understand how to achieve CMMC compliance.
CUI-CON conferences address everything a DoD contractor must do to protect the federal government’s intellectual property—also known as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)—including CTI, CDI, and ITAR. The DoD implemented the CMMC program at the start of 2025. The CMMC program requires defense contractors and their supply chains to be certified in order to win contracts and continue working with the DoD. Certification is expected to become a contractual requirement in 2026.
Members of Daymark’s Government Community Services Team will be at the conference to offer attendees guidance on securing sensitive information within their environments to meet CMMC 2.0 / NIST SP 800-171 controls. They will also discuss how solutions such as Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government can provide the foundation for protecting CUI and ITAR data.
