Daymark Participates in “Run-Walk to Home Base” for 3rd Straight Year

Employees Raise Funds and Awareness for U.S. Veterans

 

May 22, 2012 – Employees at Daymark Solutions participated in the Run-Walk to Home Base for the third straight year.  The event was held on May 20, 2012 where more than 2,000 people completed a 9k route through the streets of Boston with the finish line at home plate at historic Fenway Park. This year’s event raised over $2 million for New England veterans and their families affected by combat stress and traumatic brain injury.

 “This is the third year in a row ‘Team Daymark’ participated in this great event,” said Brian Casey, General Manager & Chief Operating Officer at Daymark. “We are proud of our employees who are quick to volunteer their time for this event, and to date we have raised $25,000 in support of this worthy cause.”

The Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program serves New England by identifying, motivating and clinically treating wounded service members and veterans with combat stress and traumatic brain injury.
