Daymark Solutions and EMC to Host Dinner Seminar on Implementing Electronic Medical Records on March 18, 2010 in Burlington, MA

February 15, 2010 - Healthcare Information Technology executives are invited to join Daymark Solutions and EMC for an informative discussion on implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) at the Capital Grille in Burlington, Massachusetts on March 18, 2010. The evening will feature a presentation by Charlie Bristol, Director of Infrastructure Services at Capital Regional Health Care in Concord, NH.

Bristol will share what he learned when his organization tackled EMR in a project which consolidated multiple independent practices and enabled Capital Region Health Care to continue to provide world class healthcare services. He will provide first-hand insights into the planning, design and deployment of the hospital's new EMR solution, through coordination of key partners including GE Healthcare, Daymark Solutions, EMC and IBM.

Capital Region Health Care successfully achieved their EMR initiative which encompassed complete patient record encounters allowing them to automate and streamline workflow in the health care setting while simultaneously increasing safety through evidence-based decision support, quality management, and outcomes reporting.

"Healthcare organizations are under significant pressure to comply with new regulations that require meaningful use of EMR technology by specific dates," said Bruce Hall, Director of Technology for, Daymark Solutions. "This dinner is great opportunity for IT professionals in the industry to pick up some valuable insights and tips on transitioning to EMR."

The event will begin at 4:30pm. In addition to Bristol's presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to network with their peers and to speak with IT experts from Daymark and EMC. The Capital Grille is located at 10 Wayside Road, Burlington, MA.
