The annual golf tournament to benefit Sylvia's Haven, a shelter for homeless women and children in Devens, Massachusetts, was once again a huge success, raising over $80,000 to fund ongoing operations. Since its inception six years ago, the tournament has raised $320,000 for Sylvia's Haven.

Members of the area's technology industry teed off on September 19 at the Hopkinton Country Club to help the nonprofit organization, which provides sanctuary, job training, and emotional and financial support for homeless women and their children. During its seventeen years of service, the organization has provided desperately needed services to over 950 women and children.

Over 35 golfers participated, and hundreds of individuals and corporations made donations. Corporate sponsors included Daymark Solutions, Enterprise Storage Group, EMC, Network Appliance, Symantec, McData, Softek, Commvault, Glasshouse, XOsoft, Acopia and Neartek.

"The work done at Sylvia's Haven is very important to our community, and we have been pleased to provide assistance as a corporate sponsor for the past five years," says Tim Donovan, Vice President of Daymark Solutions. "I encourage others, both individuals and businesses, to learn about this wonderful organization and do what they can to help."
