Lexington, MA, September 7, 2017 – Daymark Solutions, a leading provider of information technology solutions, today announced that for the 6th year it has maintained its certification in Veritas Catalog Manipulation, an advanced and highly specialized certification for NetBackup. The certification means that Daymark has the deep knowledge and proven expertise to execute specialized processes to change the NetBackup catalog, including:

  • Master server renames
  • Disparate operating system migrations
  • Catalog splits or merges

Offered by invitation only to a small number of Veritas partners, this certification validates Daymark’s advanced proficiency in architecting, implementing and supporting NetBackup deployments. This certification is an important addition to Daymark’s more than 350 technical certifications.

“We frequently see NetBackup users needing to make changes to their configuration. However, it’s not a trivial task to modify the NetBackup catalog. Getting it right is critical as mistakes can have a potentially disastrous impact,” said Brian Casey, General Manager and COO at Daymark.

Daymark has been designing and supporting NetBackup installations for 16 years and has earned the distinction of being a Veritas Platinum Partner. The company’s technical engineers hold more than 200 Veritas technical certifications.
